How to Connect Multiple Bank and Credit Card Accounts

Connecting Multiple Bank and Credit Card Accounts

When adding your financial institutions to Tabby, it is important to choose the correct connection method to ensure your transactions sync accurately without creating duplicates.

Select Your Connection Method

Based on your account setup, you will choose one of the two options visible in the Select Institution menu:

Option 1: Add More Accounts

Use this if: Your additional bank or credit card accounts share the same login credentials. If you have multiple accounts (e.g., a savings account and a business checking account) under a single username and password at the same bank, click Add More Accounts. This adds the new account to your existing connection without requiring a new login. Also, if you have multiple organizations in Tabby that use the same login credentials for different bank accounts, please follow this process.

Option 2: Connect New Institution

Use this if: Your second account has a different username or password. If you are connecting a completely different bank, or if you have a second account at the same bank that uses a different login, you must treat it as a new institution.

Important: To prevent duplicate transactions, you must first click the checkbox "I have read and understood the notice above" (marked as 3 in the image) before the + Connect New Institution button becomes active.
